Happy Monday to you!

Also, happy Martin Luther King Jr Day everyone! Today's post will be a brief one, dedicated to the word ACTION. Most of us are fortunate enough to have knowledgeable or wise people in our lives. We are able to access advice or counsel when making important decisions. We can read books or listen to media on specific areas in which we aim for improvement. Nevertheless, it is not enough to receive the instruction or guidance. We have to be people of action. Even the Bible says that being a hearer of the word, and not a doer of the word also, leads us to deceive ourselves. The key to experiencing the lives we dream of is to attach works with our faith. Once you obtain the counsel or acquire the knowledge, it is time to work. In 2016, do not let fear hinder your movement. Apply your resources and take steps toward the fulfillment of your purpose. Write down your goals, ask for help, and get to work. Do not be discouraged by doubt or tangible obstacles. With excitement, begin your journey and never look back.

Love,

James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
