Happy Monday to you!

Sometimes, you will experience circumstances that steal your joy. Life will become overwhelming, and you may not believe that you have a future. In those moments, it can be easy to complain. It can be easy to cry and surrender to doubt, fear, and grief. Instead, choose to express gratitude. No matter how difficult life gets, there is always a reason to say thank you. Once you muster up the courage to give thanks, a transformation will occur in your heart. You will find the strength to press forward. Things may or may not improve suddenly, but you just keep on living, working diligently, and giving thanks.

Here's my weekly gratitude list! Be encouraged, my friends.

Thank you Lord for these two delicious black bean burgers that I was able to prepare for dinner.

Thank you Lord for the Apple Walnut oatmeal I ate earlier today.

Thank you Lord for clean running water to shower. Thank you Lord for clean running water to drink.

Thank you Lord for my home.

Thank you Lord for my family, friends, and loved ones.

Thank you Lord for your WORD which encourages me daily.

Thank you Lord for providing me.

Thank you Lord for giving me a grateful spirit.

Thank you Lord for a calm day.

Thank you Lord for delivering me out of every difficult situation.

Thank you Lord for answering people’s prayers throughout the world.

Thank you Jesus for: dying on the cross, bearing the burden of our sins, taking the death penalty, rising from death, and reconciling us with our Heavenly Father.

Thank you Lord for all the lives you’re healing today.

Thank you Lord for this opportunity to glorify your name.

Love,

CompassionateLee
