Unashamed

Happy Sunday to you!

To my fellow Christians: Never be ashamed to share with people where your help comes from. Life presents challenges and difficulties to all human beings. You never know when someone needs inspiration or an uplifting word. Think about how honest you are in moments of complaint. Think about how passionately you vent about your problems to close family members or friends. Become even more vivid when expressing gratitude or Thanksgiving for the blessings that God has bestowed upon you. When you are enthusiastic about God and His faithfulness, it strengthens the people listening to your testimony. Then, they feel inspired to talk to God more and trust Him with their concerns. As much 2017 as presented me with overwhelming challenges and tough moments, God has also astounded me with overwhelming blessings.

I thank God for covering my mommy on Friday while driving. When another driver swerved into her lane and caused her to lose control of her vehicle, my mommy could have lost her life. God and His angels kept her car from hitting the divider or hitting any other vehicles. God kept her car from being scratched or totaled and He sustained her life. I thank God for continuing to give me favor through interview opportunities as this school year comes to a close. God is always light years ahead in His provision. Even while I'm working with my students now, God is preparing amazing opportunities for my next chapter. I thank God for the few good friends I have that bring joy to my life. God ministers to me through their testimonies. God ministers to me through the love of my family. As I've expressed to you in my previous posts, my parents continue to be my constant support system in this life. I thank God for how He blesses me through their love. I thank God for preserving them. I thank God for the friendship I have with my brother. Not everyone as a good relationship with their siblings. My brother prays for me, speaks truth to me, and is a shoulder to lean on.

There are countless ways that God demonstrates His love for me. I was only able to name a few tonight. However, I am glad that I shared a portion of my testimony with you. I will continue to declare God's goodness to those who believe and those who choose not to believe. I know that in the process, God will be glorified and lives will be transformed. I hope you step out of your comfort zone and begin to share your testimony more often. Not everyone may respond; however, you will be amazed to see how many people you can help through your transparency.

If you feel comfortable, share your own testimony in the comment section below or one way that God has blessed you this year.

Love,

CompassionateLee

Psalm 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
