POETRY CORNER

You are loved.

Before you knew the sound of your name

And how to respond when called.

You are cherished.

Since the day of your birth forces compete to convince you

To accept that truth

Or believe the lies.

I’m just here to remind

You

Of the love that is yours

Which no man can take away. Though some have tried Unsuccessfully.

Many tears you’ve cried. Forgetfulness—a thief trying to take away

Memories of the love close by Always present.

Inside.

I hope these words force your spirit to recall

The love

That carries you in life

And will resurrect you from death.

You are loved.

Ever noticed.

I hope this makes you smile

Even at your lowest.

For these words are true.

And someday you’ll  know it

And you won’t have to read this.

Because you will show it.

And others will awaken

To this insight

And experience its freedom.

Love,

CompassionateLee

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
