Happy Monday to you!
There is a God who loves you beyond comprehension. Guess what? He loves your family members and your friends more than you could ever love them. Accepting God’s love and living in it is difficult when you refuse to surrender. I understand that there are many aspects of the world we live in that can cause us to be fearful. No matter the circumstance, it is important that you keep yourself from being paralyzed by fear.
Parents sending your children off to college, you’ve thanked God and prayed for Him to cover your children. Don’t stay up at night worrying about their safety. Cling to the promises of God written in His word. Realize that your worries don’t safeguard your college student. Only God’s presence can safeguard your children. Families of ill persons, don’t tremble at the severity of your loved ones’ sickness. If you’ve prayed for his or her healing, rest in God. If your loved one recovers in this life, God will continue to see them through the rest of their days. If your loved one passes away, if he or she received Christ as Lord and Savior, there is no need for worrying. They have guaranteed eternal life with Christ. Remember, Christ made all things well with His death, burial, and resurrection. For you unemployed readers, searching for jobs, stop worrying about the future. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. Before you even asked God for an employment opportunity, the Lord knew you were in need of provision. God is willing and able to supply all of your needs.
You have to be willing to trust Him. God’s faithfulness will never be dependent upon anyone or anything. God is who He is [eternally]. You have to make a commitment to trust Him in good times and in bad times. As a follower of Christ, you have to know that your end is victorious. Every battle you face, obey God and allow Him to bring about the appropriate solutions. It displeases God when you stay up late at night or wake up extra early stressing about the past and trembling over the future. So stop allowing your thoughts, actions, and words to display a lack of confidence in God. He has all power forever. So declare today, “Lord, your will be done! I am trusting in You!” Fight fear by dwelling in God’s presence and declaring His word. For in the end, only God’s will prevails.
