Happy Monday to you!

So many people are boggled by their circumstances. They want immediate relief from the burdens of daily life. As a result, they turn to a variety of coping mechanisms. Some people overload themselves with work to escape their personal lives. Some people ingest copious amounts of alcohol or drugs. Other people wander from place to place, never at ease in any environment. Career and academic achievements aren’t gratifying. Ultimately, they feel lost and without hope for the future. What these persons are missing is the peace of God.

In God’s presence, there is a peace that passes understanding. His peace cannot be quenched by the severity of anyone’s circumstances. In fact, God's peace can provide an overwhelming calm in the midst of every situation. Do you feel anxious about your work life, relationships, health, etc? Seek God’s presence today. God promises that when you seek Him, you will find Him. If you earnestly pursue God, you will encounter Him. God wants you to experience His peace. God wants you to be free from anxiety. It is never okay to settle into your fears. Seek God and He will give you freedom from a life of angst.

All you need to do is talk to God. Express to Him your desire for fellowship. Ask God for His presence and His peace. It's that simple.

Love,

CompassionateLee

Psalm 63 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. 3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. 4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. 7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. 8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
