Happy Monday to you!

This post is for my family (also known as the body of Christ or the Church). I am writing to those who have been in the family, as well as those who will be joining the family in the days, weeks, months, and years to come. While I was reading Romans 9 and 10, I thought of you. I thought of the trials that you have faced and will experience. As all of you know, conflict is nothing new to us. Since the foundation of the Church, we have suffered greatly. However, we do it all for great gain. Since Christ, our head, suffered to bring us back into reconciliation with the Father, we count it great joy to endure various tribulations for His glory. The intent of this post is not to focus on the largeness of our challenges; rather, this post is to serve as a source of strengthening for all of us. I hope that you will revisit this post anytime you feel weak or when your faith is being attacked. Also, I hope you direct other members of the family who need to be empowered to this post. This is my prayer for us today:

Dear Heavenly Father,

You, the Lord our God, are one. You are majestic and holy in all Your ways. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Forgive us of all our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Receive our intercessions today. Lord, right now, our suffering is great, and our faith is being attacked. Please give us the stamina to endure our tribulations. Also, strengthen us for all the adversities you will permit us to encounter. Let our actions and our speech during difficult times be righteous that we may draw others to You. Be glorified in us in the good times, and be glorified in us during the bad times. And at the acceptable hour, bring us deliverance out of every hardship. Lord, You are our Provider, Healer, Sustainer, Comforter, and our Mighty Redeemer. None can compare to You. We trust You, even in this perilous time. Therefore, we ask You to give us the power and the strength to finish the course that has been set before us. Help us not to turn aside from following You. Let the world see that we will believe and follow You until the end. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Ephesians 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
