Happy Monday to you!

How was your weekend? Did you spend time with loved ones? Were you busy working? I hope that in the midst of all life's events you were able to rest.

Yesterday, I was reminded of the significance of ONE.

Too often, we are compelled by varying forces to reach as many individuals as possible. For instance, if you run a website, sponsors may require that you broaden your audience to boost sales. If you work for a television network, increasing and sustaining viewership is a daily focus. If you are a professional athlete, you know how important winning is to maintain an arena or stadium full of fans. In all of the aforementioned instances, the relayed message is more, more, more! For this reason, we often overlook the one.

Last night, the Holy Spirit reminded me to never disregard the one. Be appreciative of the opportunity to change one life. Understand the magnitude of teaching one person to love sincerely. Recognize the power of making one child aware of his self-worth. Rejoice when one person learns to forgive. Celebrate when one person purchases her first home as a result of your financial advice. Remember that a one man army can change the course of the world. It has happened before...

There will be many moments in the future where you will be called to make a choice. Do something to empower the one or do something that will draw the attention of the masses. On some occasions, the difficult yet worthy choice will be to empower the one. You never know how inspiring one person can (positively) impact the lives of an entire community. Until tomorrow,

Love,

CompassionateLee

Luke 15:And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
