The Weekly Recap

Happy Friday to you!

There are a multitude of blogs, vlogs, social media websites, etc. that vie for your attention on a daily basis. One person will tell you to shop his holiday gift guide. Another person will tell you to travel more. One person will tell you to try her recipe. Another person will tell you to stop eating your favorite food because of its poor nutritional value. We give advice to each other in the spirit of community. Nevertheless, it is vital that you take time to unplug this weekend.

Instead of trying to recreate every meal, D.I.Y project, and look on your pinterest boards, relax. Sometimes, you pressure yourself to complete every activity in a weekend that you saved in your favorites tab during the week. Consequently, fun activities turn into chores. Avoid multi-tasking. Savor the moment. Let your accomplishments come gradually. Do not push your mind, body, and spirit beyond the limit. A healthy person recognizes the value of rest.
